The maps detail the divergences of a specific region from 1965 to the modern day. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the density of accommodation has grown, which stems from the increasing rate of residents.
In 1995, there were a few Assford houses to the northeast of the town and the forest at the opposite bank. None of the bridges were constructed at that time; therefore, roads on both banks were separated. At that time, the ferry was preferred to use rather than a bridge to cross the river. Back to the present, the former forest is replaced by the car park and the figures were added to the south and near Assford houses. To the south of town, new buildings for living purposes are erected and there are many small houses, that run along the rivers on the banks. At the present, pupils vary their choices to cross the bridge. Ferry in 1995 was transformed into two kinds of bridge: road bridge and footbridge. The former was built for vehicles, while the latter was only used by people going on foot.
