The bar chart presents the financial support (billion dollars) of six developed countries, namely US, Germany, UK, Japan, Netherland and Sweden, to the developing ones. The figures were examined in three distinct years, commencing from 2008 to 2010.
Overall, it is evident that the US support ranked highest among categories throughout the timeline. Netherland and Sweden, however, both showed modest support in finance to developing countries.
Regarding the US, the supporting figures indicated fluctuating trend which hit its lowest point of approximately 18 billion dollars, in 2009. Nevertheless, a noticeable increase could be seen afterward, accounting for 25 billion dollars in 2010. Meanwhile, Germany, the UK and Japan showed moderate financial assistances which were in the range of 10 billion to 15 billion dollars.
Turning our attention to Netherland and Sweden whose supporting figures consistently showed least financial support during the examined years. Both countries provided about 5 billion dollars in 2008, both nearly reached the point of 10 billion dollars in 2009 and ended at the point of 7 billion dollars
