The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
The picture depicts a map of a public park when it was opened in 1920 and the current map. Overall, it is apparent that the park has changed considerably throughout the period.
The park is located in the original place with entrances in the North and South of the complex. In 1920, there were three rose gardens located in different places around the park. Now, only one of the original rose garden exists, which is the garden in the Northwest. However, new rose garden is developed in the center of the park, which was initially the location of a fountain. The seats in all sides of the park were removed and they are placed into every sides of the new rose garden.
Furthermore, in the prior map, there were a ponds for water plants in the Northeast and a glasshouse in the South, and these facilities are now demolished and replaced with Children’s play and Water feature, accordingly. The stage for musicians, located to the West of fountain in the 1920’s map, is destroyed and a new amphitheater for concerts is constructed. Today’s map also shows that two facilities are added: a cafe situated between an entrance and Children’s playground in the North, and an entrance for an underground car park located next to the water feature.
