The diagrams demonstrate how Norbiton will change its specific industrial place in the town in the future.
Overall, the venue will be expanded by replacing all the factories by buildings and housing to admit more residents.
Currently, the Norbiton industrial area is filled by eight factories located next to the main roads and three of them are around a roundabout. Opposite these factories, there is a farmland situated on the other side of the river and this river divides the agricultural place and industrial one into two distinctive destinations.
Soon, Norbiton’s government will significantly change this industrial region into a residential venue and build more useful facilities, such as shops, a medical centre, a school, and a playground. It can be seen that the eight factories will be removed and the main roads are going to be expanded by having more sites and one more small roundabout placed in the South of the old one. Furthermore, to connect the farmland to this new location for citizens, there will be a bridge built directly over the river and the farmland, itself, is being decreased the area and moved to the right of the map.
