Your next-door neighbour likes to listen to music late at night. Because of the loud music, you often lose sleep. Write a letter to the building manager. In your letter describe the situation explain the problems it is causing you offer at least one solution
Dear Mrs. Gandhi,
Hope you are doing well,
I am writing to you to inform about an issue that has been bothering me for the past two months. I have been a responsible tenant at Amrapali apartments for more than 2 years. Ever since my new neighbors have moved in to the apartment next door in apartment number 2B, it has been a very trying experience for me as her neighbor.
She has a habit of listening to loud music late at night post 11 pm at night, I guess that’s when she returns home and usually has friends over too. Now, I have to be at work at 7: 30 in the morning which requires me to sleep in by at least 11 pm. Ever since she has moved in, it has become increasingly difficult for me to do that and that has been affecting my life. I have spoken to her before, about this issue and expressed my concern but it hasn’t been helpful at all. I don’t wish to confront her by myself any further as I feel it could be counterproductive.
I request you to officially intimate her about this as the building manager about the inconvenience she has been causing to the rest of us. I think a refresher course on the etiquettes as a neighbor and rules of the building from you should help her understand the gravity of the situation. It would be immensely helpful if you could address this situation right away.
Kindly let me know if you require any more information or assistance from me.
Thanks & Regards,
Siddharth Choudhary
