Some people think that advertising has positive economic effects. Others think it has negative effects because it will make people feel dissatisfied with who they are and what they have. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
In this contemporary life, there is more and more advertising everywhere. Therefore, some people believe that advertising has positive effects on finances . However, others believe it has bad effects because it will make people feel confused about who they are and what items they have. This essay will examine both sides of the argument before conclusion is drawn.
Admittedly, there are some arguments in favor of people believing that advertising has positive economic effects . First, advertising subsidies are believed to equalize product opportunities among stores and companies. This advertising support, presumably, tends not only to increase the overall brand awareness enrollment but also to mitigate their feeling of inferiority, which promotes an egalitarian society. Second, advertising support would probably result in a higher supply of highly qualified workers, which benefits society in the long run. Moreover, support from advertising could help to choose the best items and depends on their favourite. In fact, it is acknowledged that advertising and product human capital is imperative to foster economic growth and technology development in any nation.
Nevertheless, the resultant problems would be far more significant than the minor benefits once many people rely on advertising and some people believe that it makes them feel dissatisfied. First, advertising would likely correspond with a tremendous financial strain on a country. Generating no income from products and people can feel disappointed with their items. Example, with advertising about cosmetics, some people may experience irritation when using it. Therefore, it’s one of the reasons why some people say they don’t know who they are and what they have. Meaning that, there would be less input to develop other important areas such as healthcare systems and transport infrastructure. Second, advertising would tempt many young people including those who are not academically inclined or show no interest in research products and potentially wasting time that these young people could have spent on suitable items. It, instead, would be a more suitable advertising if the resources were focused on supporting less privileged yet gifted people.
In conclusion, despite the long-term advertising on humans that can help to boost economic growth and also help people to choose suitable products. However, it has more drawbacks than advantages for the country and young people. From my point of view, citizens should consider their items and government should consider and checking the product from companies.
