Both author and lecturer offer two opposing views on the restriction about archaeology in the United Kingdom. While, the text lists some factors as the limitation of this job in the England, the professor counters these specific factors, and she mentions to the adaptation of new role in the England which overcomes all of these barriers.

First of all, the professor refutes that the construction of new buildings demolishes the valuable ancient artifacts, which in the reading part is named as one of the main element of limitation. The lecturer states that after the new role, each site before the construction is examined by the archeologist to assure it does not have valuable relics from the past. If there is any part of ancient artifacts, the archaeologists and construction team will consult about it; moreover, they will make a decision either they continue to build their building or excavate the site.

Next, the passage points to the lack of financial adherence from the government as one of the restrictions. The lecturer doubts on the truth of this claim. As she asserts, based on the novel role, the construction company which finds the site with the archeology value is oblige to pay whole initial costs. As a result, these companies can be considered as a new monetary source, which allows the archeologists' activities enhance far greater than the past.

Finally, meanwhile the passage presumes that there is a less opportunity to own this career in the England; the professor argues its accuracy. Based on the lecturer evidence, there is more demand for archeologist in the various steps such as the examination of the site, making a decision, and research. In addition, the new financial resource provides a decent support for them. Consequently, nowadays there is a great requirement for the archeologists.

That how, the professor effectively challenges the claims made in the article.
