Reading and lecture have contradictory in term of reliability of online encyclopedias. Although reading expresses three reasons to refute validity of these information sources but professor disagrees and give her reasons to provide acceptable hints in order to admire credibility online encyclopedias.
First, reading states that people who write these communal online encyclopedias haven't enough knowledge on that specific topic because of shortage of experts so they almost make so many errors. In the lecture professor says traditional printed books also contain errors the difference is that online form can be corrected easily.
Second, author claims that communal online encyclopedias may be attack by hackers and other malicious person that can falsify original text. Professor expresses two strategies to avoid falsification of communal online encyclopedias, first giving read only format of them and second hiring some editors to monitoring and correcting the corrupted part of text.
Finally, reading says communal online encyclopedias focused on a topic and cause false and complex impression on readers, on the other hand reading claims that most of communal online form topics are trivial and less academic. However, professor refutes this and says against printed form craters which always encountered a shortage of space and enforced to select more important topics, online communal encyclopedias have enough space to present diversity topics and meet different people need.
