This chemical material have been used to secure farm lands from insects. On the contrary, the professor claims that this solution is not fair to farmers that are close to frogs habitants, because if they follow this laws, they would lose in competetive markets and produce less amounts of the crops each year.
Furthermore, the reading states that fungus is another noticeable cause of the reducing population of frogs, because thickening of the skin is its consequences and scientists could treat or prevent infection that kill the fungus with heat. In contrast, the professor accounts this notion by saying that scientist must produce indivitual treatment for each frogs, because no single treatment could solve this problem for all of the frogs together. Also, scientist must update the treatments for each generation.
Last but not the least, the reading reminds us that human spread so quickly in nearby lakes, which are the suitable habitats for frogs in order to lay leggs and if we protect the lakes we could contribute to reduction of the frogs' population.
