The first pie chart illustrates the composition of domestic energy consumption of an average Auatralian family. The second pie chart compares the percentages of carbon dioxide emission from six spheres of familiar activities, that are heating, cooling, lighting, other appliances refrigeration and water heating.
Overall, heating composes the largest section of Australian household energy use. Water heating emits the biggest proportion of greenhouse gas from family.
Looking from the first pie chart, it is evident that heating and water heating consume the majority of household energy, which is 42% and 30% respectively. Water heating generates 32% of total carbon dioxide emission, which is the largest section of greenhouse emission from family use. By contrast, heating merely engender 15% of greenhouse gas from household energy comsumption, which is insignificant when compared to the fact that heating consumes nearly half of househlod energy.
Turning to the second pie chart, it is surpising to conceive that other appliances emit 28% of the whole carbon dioxide that resulted from family, because other appliances only consumes 155 household energy. similarily, refrigeration causes 145 greenhouse gas from family activities, which merely consumes 7% household energy.
