Second, the reading states that a recent expedition provides support for Peary's claim. The professor contends this point by providing an example of similar expedition. She says that they transfer food with airplane. She mentions that Peary had unfavorable conditions.
Third, the reading states that Peary took a photograph whose shadow in the photograph provides support for his claim. The professor explains that the photograoh is not good evidenc. She says that shadow was very vary. Besides, she mentions that it was taken one hundred years ago. It is faded and blured. As a result, she says that the photograph is not appropriate to calculate the sun position.
