The professor explains three arguments opposing the points that mentioned in the reading passage about the idea that tissues of T.rex contains remains of blood vessels, red blood and collagen matrix.
First, the reading passage claims that many small branching channels, which may be were location of blood vessels, have been found in broken legs may correspond to actual blood vessels on T.rex. However, the professor brings up the idea that these branch are much more likely to something else due to the fact that some bacteria create such hallows that often leaves behind soft and moist organism. By providing this explanation, the professor repudiates the idea presented in the reading passage.
Second, it is mentioned in the reading passage that some spheres have been found in inner parts of bone which means it could be remains of the red blood cells. Also, these spheres contained iron that is crucial for blood cells' performance. On the contrary, the professor draws attention to the fact that these spheres have been discovered in different organisms in same place. Even, scientists found blood cells in organism that had not blood vessels in their anatomy. So, mentioned evidences indicate that not only spheres are not originated to T.rex, but also they would come from outside of dinosaur's body.
Third and last, although the reading passage asserts that performed test demonstrates presence on collagen in the dinosaur leg bone, the professor disproves the idea due to the fact that collagen can remain about 100 000 years. So, finding collagen in bone of an animal which belongs more that 70 million years ago is dubious, indeed, it is improbable. As the professor states, this collagen can remain from much more recent source. For instance, it can be belong to remains of researchers' skin who were handling the bone. Thus, the professor presented contradictory evidences that are convincing to reject this fact either.
