The pie charts give information on the proportion of population in South Korea in 2000 and 2050.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Given two pie charts indicate the percentage of population in South Korea in 2000 and 2050 by classifying in age group.
As clearly seen from the first chart, 40~59 years group show the highest firuge of 42%, which is almost 4 times of over 60 years. It is easily observed that over 60 years group reached lowest percentage with 10% and there are only 6% gap with 0~19 years group. Difference between younger and older group is only 3% and it represents that population is balanced.
When it comes to second one, there are significant increase in over 60 and 40~59 by 9% and 3% each. In contrast, 0~19 group decreased to 7% and due to drastic fall, this age group recorded smallest figure. So, it is certain that older people increased dramatically in 2050 approximately 11% more than 2000.
Overall, by the time goes, the proportion of older people rose apparently and that can lead serious aging society problems.
