In reading passage, there is tidal power as alternative energy source beside fossil fuel. It has many benefits for circumstance such as free air pollution, renewable, and no gases cause global warming.
Furthermore, the speaker says that tidal power is good example for alternative energy. It contributes reduce air pollution. On the other hand, there are some impact caused by tidal power.
Firstly, the main disadvantage is the quality of water around tidal power. It affects to animals like bird and fish in the environment. It makes fish movement from one area to another. It also destroys plant.
Secondly, it is not only causes animal and plant habitat but also human's life, especially the economy for people around that circumstance. There is no more navigation.
To conclude that tidal power has its own benefit. Beside that, it also has implication for human activity, animal, and plant.
