Recently your employer offered some employees to do some work directly from home. Write a letter to your manger requesting the same arrangement. You should say– Why do you want to work from home?– Why would it be beneficial for the company and yourself.
Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing this to let you know about my interest to avail the facility of working from house and right at this moment, this opportunity is important for me. Allow me to explain my situation first.
Couple of weeks ago, my wife gave birth of a baby and she is still not fit enough to care of family matters. Meanwhile, appointing a nurse is very expensive. You know traffic condition in the road is not good as well. So, after travelling long time and coming back to my living place, I cannot give time to my family and fail to take care of my child which is very disappointing as a father.
If I get the opportunity to work from my home then it is possible to give more effort to tasks as I do not have to waste time on road. On the other hand, a tension free working environment will be ensured as I will be able to remain with my family members.
So, from office if I get a desktop computer and a modem, then it is very much possible to provide service from my resident.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely yours
Jack
