Teachers salaries should be based on their Students academic performance
The given issue statement claims about teacher’s salaries should be based on students academic performance. This issue statement is reasonable because without the basis of students performance, it is very difficult for the school to determine how much salary teacher should receive.
Let us first consider the salary of teachers have nothing to do with student academic performance then it might be possible that some teachers become irresponsible and not teaching well. when considering the salary of teacher, students academic performance is not only the factor but also have some other factors. example : previously in my secondary school salary of teachers not depend on the students academic performance. So our Maths and English teacher become more irresponsible and was not teaching well in the school. Sometimes they does not bring Maths text book also. My English teacher do not check our homework so our mistakes got increases. Due to this reason my English and Maths academic performance was low and other students academic performance was high because of they were go for extra classes of Maths and English.to prevent irresponsibility of teachers salary must be based on students academic performance.
When considering the salaries of teachers strictly depend on the students academic performance then it may be possible that teachers only focus on the students academic performance and not focus on making the students all-rounder in other fields.
Example: previously in my high school teachers salary only depends on the students academic performance then teachers was only focused on our academic performance and not on other hobbies such as essay competition, cricket matches etc. Because of that we remain weak in other areas as mentioned above.
It may be possible that parents of children not too much conscious about their study. let us consider an example :In my village most of the people said that “what they does by pursuing education” and told their children that concentrate mostly on work in the farm. Because of too much work in the farm children fails to go for the school hence their academic performance was low. it may be possible that children have too much work so they fails o concentrate on education ,then if teacher teaches well but student fails to learn that things in well manner.
In rural areas enough facilities for teaching not available because of that mostly teachers did not want to go there for teaching students. If any teacher went there to teach the students in very typically hard conditions then how could author determine salaries of such teachers on academic performance of students.
Therefore to avoid these extreme conditions salaries of teachers must be depend on students academic performance in some extent and also considering their quality of teaching.
