The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kind of meats in a European country between 1979 and 2004.

The line graph gives information about the amount of four different types of food consumed by people in a European country over 25-year period.
It is clear that more and more people consumed chicken, while the figures for beef, lamb and fish experienced a decrease. In addition, fish was the least eatten food.
In 1979, the figure for fish was the lowest, each person just ate 60 grams per week. By constrast, beef was the most consumed food, at about 220 grams per week, the figures for chicken and lamb were much lower, at around 140 grams and 150 grams respectively.
The consumption of beef, lamb and fish shared a similar trend. While the figures for lamb and chicken saw a significant decrease, at around 50 grams and 110 grams per week in 2004; the consumption of chicken rose dramatically from 140 grams to approximately 250 grams. Fish remained the lowest consumption, just about 40 grams per week.
