Dubai Gold Sales in 2002
The graph provides information about variations in gold sales in Dubai over the 2002nd year, where the incomes are indicated by an Arabic currency ( Dirham ).
Overall, the most considerable differential can be observed in the period between February and July, whereas in the beginning of the year sales just slightly increased from 200 million to approximately 225. Then, a sudden rise by over 100 millions of Dirhams, reaching a peak of 350 in March, was followed by a dramatic fall to nearly 120 millions in July. After remarkable fluctuations, figures swiveling around150-200 millions, sales levelled off in November. Finally, the trend stabilized, ending the year with the profit of about 200 millions of Dirhams in December.
It is noticeable that Dubai gold sales were up and down throughout the year and the most successful period in gold trade is obviously March, whereas it suffered a significant downgrade in July and September. This ends my report.
