the little ice age
The passage claims that there are many reasons for little ice and cold temperature in the some of the world. due to there were make inclement and the situation for parts of the world and cause little ice age formation in this era. The lecture does not agree with the ideas brought up by the passage and offers some counterclaims to reject them.
First, the author argues that the melted glaciers cause to bring a large amount of cold water into Gulf streams. By doing so decreasing these melted ice cause hugely ocean current and disrupted gulf stream which caused decrease the temperature and changed earth’s climate. On the contrary, the speaker believes this event only can in the north side of earth particularly in Europe and North America. On the other hand, the evidence that southern parts of earth and had a little Ice Age, and this cannot prove which is disrupted ocean currents
Furthermore, the reading highlights the thought that volcanic eruption sent dark clouds of dust and sulfur gas into the air to prevent sunlight to earth’s surface, which decreased temperature earth. By contrast, he professor underlines the fact that we have any evidence and historical proof for been dust in the snow like a gray snow or colorful sunlight. Then, none of this effect was observed in the Little Ice Age.
Finally, the author suggests that tremendous decreasing human population had the most effective to increasing trees and jungles, and by doing so decreasing the carbon dioxide and greenhouse effect to temperature reduction. However, the speaker s states the human population grew very fast and this resulted in deforestation and prepared for some fields for crops which caused increasing more greenhouse effect and temperature.
All in all, the speaker says this evidence is not true for the Little Ice Age. He says that such reasons for his claims.
