TPO 42- task 1
The passage and the lecture discuss the presented solutions for preventing the birds from crush with glasses. The reading expresses that there are three solutions for decreasing the amount of injuries of birds. Whereas, the lecturer disagrees with this methods due to having another problems for birds.
First, the passage declares that if company of glasses can make glasses with only one direction, they will be able to reduce the flying the brids through the windows. However, the professor in the lecture points out that this work is not useful because when you make a glass in one direction it is the cause glass become similar to mirror; therefore, birds think that these are sky and fly through them.
Moreover, the reading believes that the colorful glass can help to deceive birds; thus, they think that these are stripes and avoid from crushing. Nevertheless, the man in the lecture claims that if the birds think these dark things are holes they fly through, as well as, these types of glass is the cause of blacking home during days.
Finally, the passage mentions that make an artificial magnetic field in the glasses is the good factor that birds change their direction and this perform as a hinder, Although the lecture expresses that the birds use the Earth's magnetic fields for their long distance trips not short distance; hence, if they receive these signals form glasses, they will change direction to glasses.
Although the reading mentions three solutions for hinding birds from injuring of glasses, the lecturer refutes all of these ways with mentions evidence that reveal their insufficienties.
