As for the high income group, they spend a great deal money on hamburgers slightly more than 40 pounds a week. The same applies to average income people who rather hamburgers above all else around 35 pence per week. By comparison low income group consume fish and chips the most about 18 pence in a week and hamburger is their second choice which they pay 14 pence for it in a week and pizza is third with cost of 8 pence per week. Pizza is the second popular kind of fast food among high income section which they spend 20 pence for it every week and approximately 18 pence for fish and chips. Average income people also eat fish and chips at the second place (25 pence) and pizza is last (12 pence).
In terms of consumption of fast foods, from 1970 to 1990, an upward trend can be seen for hamburgers and pizza and conversely a downward trend for fish and chips. With more details, the consumption of fish and chips had a minor drop from 1970 to 1985 and a slight increase at the time.
All in all, from these graphs, it can be included that hamburgers has been the most popular fast food now and then.
