The first theory explains in the text is that the book is on a genuine work on some scientific issue that is based on a complex secret code. The professor opposes this point by saying that Voyanich was an ordinary person, if he wanted to sell his book to reach people, he would definitely wrote it in a simple script.
Second, according to reading the book may be a fake by Voyanich, and there were other fake books like this that it's author just wanted to sell and attain money. On the contrary, the lecturer states that Voynich took a lot of care on the writing of the book, if he decided to sale a fake book he would make it simpler.
Third, the article claims that it is may a fake book made by Wilfrid, he made it and wanted to sale it as a mysterious old book. In contrast, the professor mentions that the ink that is used in the book is about 4000 years ago, so it is not made by Wilfrid.
