Generally, people of five countries spent the most money on Food/Drinks/Tobacco while the percentage of money they spent on Leisure/Education was the lowest.
It is clear from the table that percentages of money Turkish and Irish spent on Food/Drinks/Tobacco was significantly higher than those of the others, at 32.14% and 28.91% respectively. In addition, Italian, Spanish, Swedish spent under 19% and Sweden had the lowest percentage at 15.77%.
On the other hand, the lowest proportion of money consumers spent on Clothing/Footwear could be seen in Sweden at 5.4% whereas Italian spent more money than the others on this item at 9%. In the same category, expenditures of Ireland, Spain, Turkey were nearly 7%. Turkey had the highest percentage of nation consumers expenditure in Leisure/Education at 4.35% which was around double that of Spain at 1.98%. Proportions of money people in the other countries spent on this item were stood at between 2% and 3.25%
