Travel to study is over rated, we have brilliant scholars who studied locally. Is travel really required for higher studies?
Education has become one of the basic necessity in life. People seek to move abroad for acquiring advance studies. No doubt that great scholars are produced in every country but the real effort for that country is to encourage them to stay and serve in the same country.
Some people pursue higher studies in foreign countries where they are welcome with offering the scholarships. While the foreign countries are well aware about the increasing number of students they are inviting them to study in their country and perhaps they also know the fact that some of them while never coming back to their origin country and get permanent settlement after availing the advance education. Why still foreign countries allow them to study in their country and also provide them scholarships to study with no or little cost of whole education? The answer is they know the fact that these people will proved to be the great asset for them which eventually help these countries to bring more revenues and great reputation.
On the other hand, people elect to study other countries rather than local countries because they do not get enough opportunity to enhance their study skills and if they do then they have to pay their own education expenses. Even after finishing the education, they suffer from job opportunities and often find themselves on the street rusting off their shoes to find a reputable job. While on the other hand, foreign countries not only offer scholarships but also after completing their education they give employment with great perks. Obviously why would not anyone then choose to study abroad.
All an all education is must seek thing which no one can neglect because we all know that education is the only weapon we have to weeded out the poverty and misery from this globe. To keep up with the pace and motivate the talented pupils, government should be cautious about these human trade offs because if every talented person move out from their country then repercussions would be inevitable.
