The school library is seeking applicants for a job over summer break. Write a letter to the library manager, in your letter, include
- A brief introduction of yourself
- Your experience and relevant skills
- Why you want the job
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a full-time graduate student in your college and my major is Library sciences. I found some job postings on the job board in career section, and I am writing to express my interest for the position of part-time library assistant during this summer break.
While I was at school, I have volunteered in local community library for seven months. During my tenure there as library assistant, I managed the distribution of books and attended telephonic enquiries. In fact, this part-time work helped me to understand my lessons in Library science.
I would like to let you know that I possess relevant knowledge and experience to take up this opportunity. Moreover, considering my current financial position, I need to work in order to support my living costs. I attached my resume for your consideration.
I hope to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely
Paul Noonan
