Hello Martin,
How are you doing? I hope all is well with you. Remember the Guitar I borrowed from you last week, unfortunately, it got damaged, two of its strings were broken off, and you have nothing but me to blame for. I am extremely sorry for my negligence towards handling your guitar. Please allow me to explain.
It was my niece's birthday this Monday, and I had arranged to play music for the arrived children and guests at the function. I must say your guitar is an amazing piece of instrument, the music it produced left all the people spell bound. Immediately after the performance, I got busy paying attention towards needs of the guest and left guitar unattended, which I should not have done at any cost, and now regret it a lot. Consequently, Couple of children who got hold of the guitar pulled strings enough to break them. I know how dear that guitar was to you and how you could not stop talking about it whenever we met. For this stupidity of mine, I have already ordered same set of strings from amazon and it will be delivered this Saturday, moreover, I have taken appointment of my music teacher to install those strings and check guitar for any other damage. I hope that brings some relief to you. Once again I apologise for my negligence towards your guitar.
Hope to see you soon.
Your Friend always,
Amar Desai
