The graph and table below give information about water use worldwide and water consumption in two different countries.
The figures show water usage by sector- namely agriculture, industrial and domestic, and 2000’s water expenditure in Brazil and Congo.
It is evident that, in the past century international water usage had rocket up dramatically, particularly in the agriculture section.
In terms of use, the agriculture was the most used water section. In this two countries water management of industrial and domestic factions had negligibly above 0 km3 in the 1900 and had been increasing in the vicinity of 100 km3 until 1950. Domestic expenditure of water slowly rose approximate 300 km3, while industrial water usage steadily increase at above 1000 km3 by the 2000. Surprisingly, agriculture’s water management soared remarkably from 500 km3 to 3000km3.
On the other hand, a brazilian uses 359m3 water and has 26500km2 plain and 176 million citizens. While within 5,2 million Congo occupies 100 km2 irrigated land, then one Congo resident uses 8 m3 water in the 2000. To sum up, Brazil has a larger farm land and great expenditure of water compared to the other country.
