The provided diagram illustrates how West Park secondary school developed from 1950 when it was built to 2010.
Overall, the biggest change that happened in the school is the construction of car park. However, the houses and farmland had completely disappeared by 2010.
At the first glance, the school is quite small and located in the south of the main road. Although there were few of residential houses situated in the northwest corner in 1950, they were demolished 1980 for building car park ad science block. The farmland in the southwest was also replaced to make sports field, while there was a maintenance of playground.
In the 1980-2010 period, car park was expanded dramatically whereas the sports field became smaller. Meanwhile, the playground was considerably narrowed in comparison with the previous period.
