Space exploration & tourism since the first human being stepped down on the moon has been an undeclared challenge between the two giants of the industrialized world (US & Russia), where both of them developed & cherished Space Programs, space technology companies & most recently, space tourism programs.
By the start of the 21st century, Headlines wrote us about the first space tourist who spent 10 million dollars to join the international space station in a touristic trip, which indeed, was an unforgettable life experience. It also with no doubt created lots of job opportunities & elicited a novel type of Services & scientific innovative experiments to cope with this new breakthrough in the field of space tourism. Some people, who think that life on planet earth is batteling distinction, & expect that space & other planets will be our last haven, look to this trip as a sort of preparation, to that forced immigration of life from the earth. They value it as an evitable plan for the future research.
On the other hand, such expensive activities drain funds for limited benefits, as limited number of rich people will look for such expensive entertaining activity. This fund wasting will be at the expense of other vital services that matters almost all nations as health care, education & mankind wellbeing. It is wonderful to look forward & plan for the future, but it is also much more important to concentrate on what benefits & supports people at present. At my healthcare institution, people are suffering every day of a variety of incurable diseases, in my opinion, these kinds of funds would be more valuable if it were targeted for cure researches.
At last, Exploring new spaces is wonderful as long as its benefits outweigh its drawbacks.
