If you want to study a particular area of climate change, which area will you choose?

With the development of technology and economy, there is an increasing concern about the environment. In which, climate change would on the top list of the conservation. Global warming, as far as I am concerned, would be the most ad hoc topic, which will be further illustrated in the following two dimensions with examples.

To begin with, global warming may speed up the extinction of species. For instance, the rising temperature could accelerate the speed of ice melting in the poles, and the excessive water would lead to a decrease in lands on which most of the species live. Furthermore, less living areas are the direct results of the decline in inhabits that creatures rely on.

Nevertheless, starvation might be solved by global warming, which will be demonstrated by the following example. According to studies, the higher the temperature is, the higher the quality and the quantity of the food is, especially the crops. Moreover, a more efficient production of food means there would be less effort should be put on agriculture, thus more energy would be allocated to other areas like technology.

In conclusion, according to the above two aspects of global warming, which the drawbacks and advantages indicate its complexity, global warming would be my preference to study in the field of climate change.
