Overall, the majority of water is used in agriculture, with the exception of North America and Europe, where the industrial compound have a major role in spending. In contrast, only a significantly less amount is dedicated to houses and private consumption in all the areas studied.
Firstly, more than 70% all water is directed to agriculture, especially in Central Asia reaching 88%, while in the same place, the domestic use have the lowest of all samples in the study with only 5%. Moreover, the agriculture is less represented in Europe and North America having percentages lower than 40 in this investigation.
Furthermore, industry is more active in this department in Europe and North America with approximately 50% of the total water usage, in contrast with the remaining continents with only a maximum on 12% observed.
Finally, in all places domestic use is the least represented with less than 20%, hitting the bottom in Asia, both Central and South East, with only 7% of the statistical data.
