It is obvious from the data that manufacturing had downward trend over a century while there was an upward trend in business and financial.
There was a fluctuation in agriculture in this period. In the first 50 years, agriculture increased slightly from 50 to 52 before a dramatic dropping by 50 in 50 years later. Manufacturing decreased steadily between 45 and 15 in the twentieth century but business and financial saw a continuous rise by 32 to 36 in 2000.
The rank of contribution in 1900 the same as in 1950 which were agriculture, manufacturing, business and financial respectively. The contribution of agriculture was more than 5 times business and financial in the first 50 years. In 1975, manufacturing was the highest contribution and 2 times agriculture was equal with business and financial. Business and Financial were the most contribution in 2000. The contribution rank was opposite with in the first 50 years.
