As computers are being used and more in education, there will be soon no role for teachers in the classroom
Over fifteen years, in Indonesia, computers become subject that is significant for helping citizens; especially people who find information for enhancing education or empowering efficiency in work field. Some people believe that the computers are pivotal tools for helping pupils who are studying in classroom, and teachers will be easier to transfer information because technologies increase rapidly. Conversely, societies argue that the existence of computers in classroom enable to catch back the function of teachers and change the pattern of communication between teachers and pupils. This essay would argue the existence of technologies at education field in modern era.
There is not a dubious that in academics realm adopting the technologies are useful for enhancing quality of study. Conventional methodology to teach pupils by teacher has changed since scientist produce the computers: search for a material is become easier and hilarious for pupils, and materials of teaching in classrooms become pervasive to get by pupils. The acceptance of knowledge is useful with computers. For example, the availability of digital books and other materials in academic field become easier to access by computers. Therefore, the existence of teachers in classroom is merely for guiding students to search materials in cyber world.
Although, the increasing byzantine in an academic field which is using modern technologies that enable to reduce human interaction in learning process while existence a teacher in classroom should be present to help pupils who are difficult to understand all subjects in learning processes. Moreover, communication is necessity of human being to bridge advisory needs among individual. For example, in an academic realm, the students feel comfortable to confer with their tutors about impediment in studying, and tutors enable to provide tips for vanquishing problems.
Finally, the computers are a collective tool for teaching. The teachers should be appropriate to their role as controls in transferring of knowledge rather than transferring of realities. Moreover, the responsibility of teachers should be open mind of students and assist students to find the problem solving in learning processes.
To put them in a nutshell, the teachers should be consider the advantages of computers to adapt in classroom and their act direct communication as primary human interaction. Therefore, it is essential to create an academia that has quality and capability.
