Overall personality of a human is developed with not a single influence but mingle of different influences give him a complete human being. Education is just a part of personality development but not the complete one. It is true that from the very beginning of life the school is the first step to taught them about discipline and make them understand about the importance of it in life.
I completely agree with the given statement. Not only the learning in the broader sense life is about self motivation. If anybody is not interested in certain thing , take it learning he or she can't be succeed in it. And learning is closely associated with discipline and regularity. So any self motivated , disciplined student who has thirst for knowledge will be succeed in life.
However it should be noted that students should not be demotivated due to lack of proper guidance. Self motivation is necessary but guidance is also required to make them realize about the fact of self motivation. The students should be aware about the advantage about self motivation and precisely about learning.
Learning is the systematic method of assimilate education. It is the way how a human is educated. School and colleges merely a way to educate them but unless until the students are motivate enough to learn by them self the education is not complete for them. Otherwise they just learn because they just have to pass. Teacher may make them aware about self discipline but it is the student who needs to not only understand but realize the fact and became self motivated enthusiastic learner and shape their future.
