Some people claim that a nation's government should preserve its wilderness areas in their natural state. Others argue that these areas should be developed for potential economic gain.
Wilder areas are those area where the habitat are not modified. They remain in their natural primitive stage from the beginning. Now from the very beginning of civilization humans are dependent upon forest and wilder area. At first humans need shelter , food from these areas but now these wilder areas are in demand for civilization and new industries.
Wilder areas are beneficial to entire living creature by many ways. It serves as a lung of nature as it take out polluted air and giving out fresh healthy air. The other things are it act as a shelter for various animals , wilder areas are very much helpful for maintaining ecological balance.
Though wilder area have so much value it is considered as potential economic zone. When the third world countries are going through economic crisis the natural value of wilder area seems a little importance to them. Many industry can be set in that area so it will ensure adequate amount of employment.
Thus when government is going under the pressure of economic degradation then preserving wilder area will be surely secondary attention. So it is clear that the future of wilder area will be directly connected with the economic condition of the nation.
In conclusion we can say that from wilder area it is also possible to take advantage of economic gain. The gain may not be comparable with other gain like industrialization but the concept of carbon credit will somewhat contribute something. More over tourism in those areas can also be promoted. In this era of globalization it is very much necessary that we should protect the greenery like wilder areas.
