A nation should require all of its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college.
The nation should provide equal chances for the students to be accepted by the college they want to apply for. This will not be achieved if the students did study different curriculum during their pre college study. For that, I bolster the claim that says that the nation should require the students with the same curriculum until they enter the college.
The scales of every student should be graded upon a unique base. This base is obtained only if the nation put a unique curriculum for all the students. The examination all over the nation should be at the same level of difficulty so that all the students obtain their opportunity through a fair competition to apply for their wanted college.
In addition, if the nation provides each educational institute with a different curriculum, then how can we be sure that no curriculum is easier or harder than the other? Furthermore, if the educational institutes did follow different curriculum, this means different examinations and different scores. Students in one educational institute can be lucky, study an easy curriculum, have easy tests and consequently get higher scores which will, in turn, make them more qualified for any college more than the students of any other institute. Different curriculum means inaccurate base of evaluation.
Pre college educational institutes should be keen on the sake of the students and prepare them perfectly to be qualified for the best colleges in the nation. This must be the main goal for any educational institute. The nation should support this aim and brace these institutes to develop their students. Extra programs and training should be available for the students. Better communication and experience transfer between the students and the professors would be of a great benefit to guide them in their future.
It would seem fairer if each college puts pre acceptance test to evaluate the students who apply for it. Before that, every student should get the same chance by being evaluated by the same curriculum
