As the cities are are the amalgamation of the all the intellectual people of the society ,so the cities are undoubtedly the first places to look for the important characteristics of the society.

One of the major characteristics of the society is shown by the politics in that society .If all the intellectual people live in the cities ,the influence of city people will be more in the politics.Foe example we can see the major government offices and the parliament buildings in the city and none will be present in these areas.It is through these things that characteristics of the society is shown.
