The chart indicates the various levels of qualification for after school degree in Australia and the ratio of men and women who had them in 1991.
As you can see in the chart ratio of males were more than females in skilled vocational diploma , postgraduate diploma and masters’s degree. The proportion of men in skilled vocational diploma was 9 times more than women and was the most between all of them(90%).
The ratio of females were 2 times more than males in undergraduate diploma however, woman were half of men in postgraduate diploma. Females in skilled vocational diploma had the lowest ratio between all of the category. Females were a little more than males in bachelor’s degree.
Finally you can see difference between men and women in the lowest level and the highest one was a lot. Different gender had almost the same ratio in middle level of post-school qualification. We can notice that women interested to have bachelor’s degree in Australlia in 1999.
