The given line graph shows the number of people visited UK and go to other countries from UK in millions in time period of 20 years (1979 to 1999) . The bar graph shows the most popular 5 countries visited by UK residents in 1999.
According to given line graph there had a big rise in visits to and from UK. In 1979 13 million people visited to abroad from UK. This figure goes to 20 million in 1984. Then it increased sharply and reached at peak of 56 million in 1999. On the other side, 10 million people reached UK from other countries in 1979. The graph shows a slow rise in this figure it reached to only 28 million visitors in 1999 which was half as compare to UK citizens who go to other countries.
According to the bar graph mostly people visited to France in 1999 which were 12 million in number. Spain got 9 million visitors from United Kingdom in 1999. Turkey, Greece, USA were with under 5 million visitors which were 3,4,and 5 million respectively.
Overall it is clear that people were more interested to visit in France in 1999.
