The graph shows the number of population who aged 65 and older in a 100-year period from 1994 to 2040 in three developed countries.

In general, all of the groups of people have increased in the end of period.

Sweden and USA have increased the percentage of their population I the first forty-year. Then, they increased steadily in the next twenty-year. However, USA had level-off in the next 20-year while Sweden has increased and fluctuated until the end of period. USA has increased as well.

On the other hand, Japan has distinctive graph than two other countries. It has started with decreasing percentage in the first 20-year. Then, it leveled-off in the next twenty-year. However, it has showed the same ending with the sharply increase.

Overall, japan has showed the slowest population’s proportion aged 65 up in the first period, but it has been the highest in the end of period.
