Happiness is considered very important in life.
Why is it difficult to define?
What factors are important in achieving happiness?
Everyone have a different life expectation. Since happiness is consider essential to live, many people would be grateful to own it. I believe that happiness is fundamental, however there are issues with defining the term, as well as the methods to achieve happiness. Therefore, in this essay I will further elaborate on the challenges in defining happiness and the vital factors to possess happiness.
Happiness is something each person would like to own. Since humans are created with a variety of personalities, everyone defines happiness differently. Therefore, it is undoutable that happiness is hard to define. Whilst one considers happiness as a result of successful career, another person might not possess the same thought. Even though it is claimed by some, money can buy happiness, others could have a totally opposite view about it. In short, it is almost impossible to create a universally agreeable definition of happiness as everyone possesses different perceptions.
It is assumed that happiness can be acquired through several pathways. First and foremost, contentment is regarded as one of the keys to happiness. If one perceives life as being fulfilled, they will eventually be happy. On the other hand, despite being a multi-billion dollars mogul, if one is ungratified, they will be unhappy. This is due to their unsatisfactory and discontentment of wealth they owned, hence lead to distress. Similarly, support from family is noted to be a journey of happiness. it is undeniable that family support is imperative for one to function in the society. Therefore, with endless encouragement from close relatives, one can experience happiness even if facing with stressful moments.
In a nutshell, despite being an indefinable term, happiness is fundamental in our everyday lives. Although it is perceived differently, one can achieve happiness through close family ties and finding contentment and satisfaction in all they do.
