People believe that they should be able to keep all the money they earn and should not pay tax to the state. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is true that some people work hard to obtain much money and use it for themselves. While I accept that people should save the money they have been collected, I believe that paying the tax for country is citizen’s must.
I agree that people work all day and night to earn much money. With money they are able to continue their life. Why do I say that? Because the money are needed to fulfill their daily necessity. They need food to prevent them from starving, they have to buy tools for their house, and for people who have family, fulfilling their family necessity is part of their must. People look for money not only for recent life, but also investment for their future life, especially for who have children. They have to prepare the best education which their children can get in formal education (school). Putting the children in the school is need its money. That is why people, especially parents, have to keep their money.
On the contrary, citizens are living in the country which has rule to pay tax. It is a rule that has to be obeyed. As the sign of obedience to the government’s rule, citizens must realize that paying tax is their obligation. People ought not to think that the tax is just for government income, but they have to know that those taxes will give feedback to themselves. Because with paying tax, indirectly they give donation to develop the country. The money that has been gathered from the tax will be used to build the country. Physically, it can be seen from roads, bridges, sidewalks, city parks, and public-used buildings. And from economic side, the money will flow into country saving. That money, if the government use it wisely, they will use it to pay state debt. So, the country will be free from debt and the citizens will live wealthy.
In my conclusion, people have their rights to save and use the money for themselves, but they also have duty to pay the national tax. I would suggest that people should manage their money wisely because good citizens will always pay their tax. And for the government, they should execute the money carefully and wisely. So they will be able to make the state become rich and the citizens will live wealthy.
