The table gives information about the percentage of national consumer expenditure in five different countries ( Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey) for spending different items in 2002.
As we see in the table, the country which bought the highest product od food/ drinks/ tobacco was Turkey, at 32.14 %. Followed by Ireland with the different percentage by 3 %, at 28.91 %. Then, the other countries which have almost the same average of percentage.
The country which had the highest percentage for spending clothing/ footwear was Italy, at 9 %. Perhaps, Italy is a city of fashion in the world so they always have a new brand for shopping. On the other hand, the other countries had the average of percentage below 7 %
Turkey was a country which spent leisure/ education at 4.35 %. Compared by other countries, the percentage of consumer for leisure time, just under 4 %.
Overall, Turkey was a country with the highest consumer of food/ drinks/ tobacco and leisure/ education in 2002.
