Some people argue that companies and private indiciduals, not goverments, should pay the bill of pollution clean.up. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
to a certain aspect, I do agree that industrial sector together with public sector to pay the cost of pollution bill for cleaning-up. Those sector should be made aware that their habit of not keeping the environment clean could cause impact to the habitat which eventually cause pollution. On other country, rules of suing have occured many years ago. For example in country like Singapore a fine of $500 will be given for people who are found to throw rubbish not on the rubbish bin. Therefore, private and public sector have the responsibility to pay the cause of their own action.
On the contrary, I do not agree if the industrial sector and the public be burden by all these causes.
Therefore, government should take their role in helping the nation to make a clean environment. Government on the other hand should have wisely organise and distribute the tax money that the public and private sector had paid to reduce the effect caused by pollution. For example, by building and improving sanitary, building more draining system etc. Furthermore, companies and public would not have the sufficient amount of funding to pay for the whole nation. Hence government should pay their role.
For the reason mentioned above, I think that government should work together with public and private sector to prevent pollution from occurring. Hence, not putting the blame on one side only.
