The bar chart below showa the number of students in three courses from 2001-2004. Identify and summarize the data
The figure supplied depicts the amount of students attending three various courses over a 4-year period from 2001 to 2004. One can discern a conspicuous fact from the bar chart that course C experienced a continual increase year by year unlike the other two courses relatively.
It is distinctive from the figure that students showed an abundant interest in course A in 2001 accounting for 4, 2 million, reaching approximately double those of course B (2,3 million) and C (2 million) in the current year.
Conversely, the prevalence of course A among people nearly halved in the following year making up 2,5 million with the second course doubling to in the vicinity of 4,2 million and the third remaining the same as in the previous year.
The proportion of Students taking course A enjoyed marginal recovery in 2003 rising by 3,5 million while the course B suffered a massive dip plunging to an all time low of 1,8 million. In stark contrast to previous years, the popularity of the course C soared being widely enjoyed by students numbering 3 million in the year in question.
The last point to note is that the courses A and C reached their all time high of 4,5 million and 5 million along with a moderate recovery of the course B (2,8 million).
Overall, all courses experienced considerable fluctuations in terms of student attendance except for the constant increase of course C.
