The chart and the graph illustrate the fast foods trend in Britain. The chart depicts the weekly amount spent on fast foods, whereas the graph explains consumption trend of fast foods from 1970 to 1990.

Looking at the chart, it is clear that the high income group spent most on fast foods followed by middle income group. Whereas, low income group spent least on fast foods. Among High and middle income groups, more money is spent on Hamburgers than pizza and fish and chips. Furthermore, low income group spent more on fish and chips.

According to the graph, the consumption of hamburgers and pizza show an overall increasing trend in the consequent years. Contrary to this, the graph of fish and chips shows a decreasing trend. The consumption of hamburgers increases above 500 grams whereas for pizza, it jumps from 50 to 290 grams. Finally, the consumption of fish and chips decreases from 310 to 240 grams.
