The diagram below shows how the Australian Bureau of Meteorology collects up-to the minute information on the weather in order to produce reliable forecasts.
The diagram illustrates the most recent information to produce reliable forecast on the weather by Australian Bureau Meteorology. There are many stages in order to collects data needed for Australian's meteorologist. It could be seen that the diagram has three main input and output which depend on computer devised used. There are four methods related to process the incoming information into reliable information for broadcasting purposes.
Collection of data begins when the data is gathered through three devices such as satellite, radar, and drifting buoy which producing different output depending on the devices used to collect information. These devices will transmit the information gathered earlier from satellite, radar, and drifting buoy into satellite photo, radar screen, and synoptic chart respectively. After that, that information will be sent to the computer in which it will be edited and processed into readable data by an authorized person. Then the prepared data will be announced by utilizing telecommunications and media. Television newsreader, radio and telephone are the three principals path for informing weather forecasting.
