The line graph illustrates the values of the population according to their age that were used to visit the theaters as often as they wanted in a one month period. It can be clearly seen that 15-24 years old represents the highest cinema goers among the four age groups.
Let us take a closer look at 15-24 years old movie goers, in 1984 to 1991, there was a steady increase from 15% to 33% approximately. During the same period the age group of 7-14 years old was fluctuating gradually from 10% to 14% respectively. It was followed by 23-34 age groups which were rising constantly and it ranges from 5 to 13%, at the same time reaches the same level of 7-14 years old age group. The last group from 35 years old and over was slowly climbing from 2% to 3%.
From 1992 to 1998, most of the age groups were fluctuating, while the first group reached the pinnacle of 58% in 1999, before it slumped abruptly to 50% in year 2002. It shows no trend in year 2003. However, the ages 7-14 and 23-34 years old group still keep on fluctuating immensely, the first group landed at 38% while the latter group got 35% in the year 2003.
Overall, the 35 years old and over remained the lowest as theater goers, which it only achieved 19% in 2003.
