The graph below gives information about international tourist arrivals in five countries.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph above traces the number of tourists that visited 5 different countries – namely, Brazil, Egypt, Malaysia , France and USA, over a span of 15 years beginning from the year 1995.

It is evident that both Brazil and Egypt recorded the least tourist arrivals with the growth being just 20% and 30%, respectively. Malaysia, which had 20 million tourist arrivals in 1995, saw a steady growth over the next decade from where the figure increased relatively faster till 2010 to rest at a little above 40 million visits. France, having had just 30 million visits in the year 1995 saw a rapid growth over the next half a decade followed by a strong moderation till 2005. It picked up the pace again to reach a staggering figure of 90 million tourist visits per year. This was the same figure USA touched but in a way less dramatic. Starting at 70 million visits , USA saw just an overall growth of 10 million visits over the 15 year period while touching its peak in 2005 at a little over 90 million visits.
