Australia in 1999 has different categories of families living. The table explained that the less of people from each household type living in poverty was aged couple. There was 4 % (48,000 people). The second less of single age person type was 6 % (54,000 person). And in the third place of couple but no children was 7 % (211,000 person). The last was aged couple.

In the highest level of sole parent was 21 % (232,000 person). The second high level of single but no children was 19 % (359,000 person). And the last of the couple with children was 12 % (939,000 person). It means the highest of family type living in proverty in Australia in 1999 was sole parent, that was 21 % of all households (232,000 personal).

The table shows the less and the high family type who living in Australia in 1999 was the aged couple and sole parent. And the all of households was 11 % means 1,837,000 society in Australia in 1999
